Big Woods Fish & Game Preserve

Big Woods Fish & Game Preserve is a members-only outdoor resort located just 20 minutes west of Lake Charles, Louisiana. Our annual memberships include access to bass fishing, seasonal hunting, and a wide range of outdoor amenities.

At Big Woods, members and their guests can enjoy private boats, lakefront lodging, docks, shooting ranges, hunting blinds, kayaks, pirogues, and more. Access to these activities and amenities are included with the annual membership.

Big Woods was established 34 years ago on a 3,000-acre tract of land with two man-made lakes, offering over 100 acres of clean fishing waters and a true taste of Louisiana’s Sportsman’s Paradise.

Whether you are new to fishing or an experienced angler, Big Woods has something for everyone. New fishermen can enjoy the excitement of catching plenty of fish, while experienced anglers can take on the challenge of setting the hook on that trophy catch.
